Connecting a channel — the general shape
- Go to Channels and click the channel you want.
- Sign in to the underlying account (Meta, Google, etc.) and grant the permissions Intelli asks for.
- Pick which assistant or chatbot should handle messages on this channel.
- Send a test message from your phone or another account. Watch it show up in Conversations.
WhatsApp specifics
WhatsApp Business is the most powerful channel and has the most rules:
- You need a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and a phone number tied to it. We'll walk you through it in Connect to WhatsApp.
- You can connect multiple numbersper organization — each shows up as a separate "App Service" you can pick when sending.
- Outbound messages outside a 24-hour conversation window need an approved template.
- Quality rating & messaging tiers are set by Meta — keep spam complaints low to keep your daily limit high.
Instagram & Messenger
- Go to Channels → Instagram (or Messenger).
- Click Connect with Facebook. Sign in and select the Page / Instagram account.
- Approve the messaging permission. The channel turns active.
Instagram limits outbound messages outside a 7-day reply window. Make sure your bot replies quickly.
