🔔 Stay Notified

Notifications keep you (and your team) on top of conversations that need attention. Find them at Dashboard → Notifications, or click the bell icon in the top bar.

What triggers a notification

  • New conversation on a connected channel.
  • Escalation event fired by a chatbot, the AI, or an automation rule (e.g. customer asked for a human).
  • Ticket assigned to you — when a teammate routes work your way.
  • @Mentions in internal notes.
  • Campaign milestones — your campaign finished sending or hit a failure threshold.
  • Template approvals — Meta approved or rejected a template you submitted.

Where notifications show up

  1. In-app bell — the icon in the top bar with a red count badge. Click it for a quick list.
  2. Full pageDashboard → Notifications shows the whole history, filterable.
  3. Browser push— desktop notifications even when Intelli isn't the active tab (you'll be asked for permission the first time).
  4. Email — daily digest plus immediate alerts for high-priority events.

Reading the notifications page

The page is split into two views, tabbed at the top:

  • All notifications — every event in your organization (filterable by type, channel, or teammate).
  • Assigned to me — only the ones that need you to act.

Each row shows the time, the contact / source, a short summary, and a link to jump straight to the conversation or ticket.

Marking as read & clearing

  • Click a notification to mark it read and jump to the source.
  • Mark all as read — button at the top right clears every unread badge.
  • Read notifications stay in your history for 30 days, then auto-archive.

Configuring what reaches you

Go to Settings → Notifications (or your profile menu). For each notification type you can toggle:

  • In-app (always on for important events).
  • Browser push — instant desktop alerts.
  • Email — choose Immediate, Daily digest, or Off.
  • Quiet hours— pause push & email outside your work hours.

Routing to the right teammate

Combine notifications with automation rules so the right person gets pinged. For example:

  • New incoming on WhatsApp containing "refund" → assign to billing teammate → notify them immediately.
  • Campaign with >10% failure rate → notify the campaign owner.
  • Conversation idle >1 hour → notify the assignee.

Troubleshooting

  • No browser push?Check your browser's site permissions — make sure notifications are allowed for Intelli.
  • Too many emails? Switch to Daily digest in Settings → Notifications. You can also turn off individual types.
  • Missing a notification you expected? CheckAssigned to me vs All, and that the trigger (e.g. an escalation rule) is actually enabled.
