🛒 Commerce

Commerce turns Intelli into a mini storefront. You can list products, take orders, accept payments, and ship — all from chat. Find it at Dashboard → Commerce.

What's inside Commerce

  • Products — your catalog of items for sale.
  • Catalogue— the curated list of products you push to WhatsApp's native catalog.
  • Storefront — a shareable web page with your products, branded.
  • Orders — every order placed, with status and customer details.
  • Payments — payment links, refunds, payout history.
  • Analytics — top sellers, revenue, conversion.
  • Settings — currency, taxes, shipping, payment providers.

Step 1: Set up your store

  1. Go to Commerce → Settings.
  2. Choose your currency (e.g. NGN, USD, KES).
  3. Set up payment providers — connect Paystack, Flutterwave, or whichever provider you use.
  4. Add shipping zones if you deliver physical items.
  5. Add tax rates if applicable.

Step 2: Add products

  1. Go to Commerce → Products → Add Product.
  2. Fill in the name, description, price, and at least one photo.
  3. Add SKU and stock level if you track inventory.
  4. Add variants (size, color) if the product has options.
  5. Save — the product is live.
Good photos sell. Use a clean background and at least 800×800px.

Step 3: Choose where to sell

Option A — WhatsApp catalog

Go to Catalogue, pick which products to push. They'll appear as a swipeable catalog inside your WhatsApp Business profile — customers can browse without leaving chat.

Option B — Storefront

Go to Storefront, pick a theme, and grab the link. Share it anywhere — link in bio, ads, email signature. It's a fully hosted page on Intelli.

Step 4: Take orders

Orders come in from three places:

  • Customer taps a product in your WhatsApp catalog.
  • Customer checks out on your storefront.
  • You create one manually from a chat — useful when someone asks in DMs.

All orders land in Commerce → Orders. Click any order to see line items, payment status, and customer details.

Order lifecycle

  • Pending — placed but not paid yet.
  • Paid — payment confirmed by the provider.
  • Fulfilling — being prepared / shipped.
  • Completed — delivered, done.
  • Cancelled / Refunded — for the obvious reasons.

Status changes can trigger automatic messages to the customer (set this up under Settings → Automation).

Payments

When an order is created, Intelli generates a checkout link from your connected payment provider and sends it to the customer. Once they pay, the order auto-moves to Paid.

For refunds, open the order, click Refund, choose full or partial. Refunds go through the original payment method.
