About MEST Africa
MEST (Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology) was founded in 2008 by Jorn Lyseggen, the founder of Meltwater, a global media intelligence company. Headquartered in Accra, Ghana, MEST is a three-phased institution combining an intensive training program, a seed fund, and a technology incubator. Since its founding, MEST has trained over 2,000 entrepreneurs and invested in more than 90 startups across Africa. The organization identifies, trains, mentors, and invests in aspiring technology entrepreneurs from across the continent. MEST has expanded its footprint with hubs in Lagos, Cape Town, and Nairobi.
